Some things you don’t dismiss
April 21, 1997
I’m astounded by the Daily’s headline, “Slaying aside, there were few Veishea hitches.” This is just like saying, “Besides that, Mrs. Lincoln, what’d you think of the play?” Would you ask Harold Seller’s family if their son had fun at Veishea, except for the fact that he died? Of course not. How insensitive and devoid of even the simplest common sense. Some things aren’t funny. Some things you don’t dismiss.
