The ISU Cyclone basketball team’s 1997 Senior Tour was at Odebolt-Arthur Community School on Sunday, April 27.

As always we were impressed with their playing, but their rapport with the kids of ours and the surrounding communities was outstanding. The smiles and laughter were terrific for everyone.

Our daughter bought Hakeem’s game shirt. She was ecstatic when he asked for a hug. He was patient when this mom asked for more pictures, smiling the whole time. Each member took time when asked for his attention whether it was for a handshake, a picture or a question.

The ISU 1997 Senior Tour will be in the memory books of many for years to come.

Thanks to all the players for a very enjoyable afternoon.
