A little discretion

Corey Magstadt and Luke Wadsley

Just when I thought that the Daily had reached its lowest possible potential, an article was printed that truly reflects the quality of the pre-journalists that the paper employs. The article regarding the video of Kenny Pratt’s behavior following his arrest was excessively vulgar and explicit. Although the students of Iowa State deserve to know what happened on that night, four columns of continuous obscenity was not necessary.

Granted, the First Amendment allows the paper to print what it wants, but was this expression of free speech rights really needed? In the future, try to use a little discretion.
