Enough is enough

Jeff Brinkman

For the last several months it has been very hard to open the Daily and not find some article or letter mentioning The September 29th Movement. When will enough be enough?

I am tired of hearing people piss and moan about Catt Hall. The letter on Apr. 21 titled “A few questions about Pratt” was more than enough for me. Personally, I don’t care if the letter was to burn him at the stake or martyrize him for fighting “the system”, “top-down democracy”, “fascism”, common sense or whatever, that would name a building after Carrie Chapman Catt.

This system is also the same system that gives everyone the right to freedom of speech and assembly, which The Movement continually points out. But those rights cannot infringe on other peoples’ rights. Keep that in mind.
