I was shocked to read Bliss Newton’s article “Promoting Capitalism in the face of genocide” in the Iowa State Daily (Mar. 28,). It was full of ignorances, if not lies, and prejudices. Its title was very funny and showed us how ignorant Mary Bliss Newton is. Buddhism, which Dalai Lama advocates, is totally different from capitalism! Promoting capitalism in Tibet is cultural genocide.

I wonder how your editors can publish a very biased article without any investigation. It is very misleading and dangerous.
