Give the writers a break
March 7, 1997
As I was reading today’s Daily (Mar. 6), I happened to be reading the editorial page, when I came across a letter titled “Trashing civil liberties.”
I think Randy J Morfitt needs to step back and think about Holly’s column, she didn’t say that she need to be protected from these gory websites, she said it was the young children that need to be protected.
If Mr. Morfitt would have read Holly’s article a little closer he would have figured that out.
I think that people need to give the people who write these editorial a break, it takes a lot of time and effort each and every week to think of a topic to write upon.
Every Wednesday of this semester I have read letters to the editor in response to Holly’s and everyone elses article as well. Why don’t I see these letter writers on the Daily staff?
