The YWCA of Ames-Iowa State is offering its annual scholarship for a female ISU graduate student during the fall semester for 1997. The applicant should demonstrate interest and commitment in one or more areas of the YWCA’s mission.

Applicants must give a personal statement of activities and achievements related to the YWCA mission, proof of academic standing and two letters of reference. Being a YWCA member is not required, and anyone may nominate a scholarship candidate.

Applications are due Friday, March 28, and are available at the YWCA, Alumni Hall and in the Student Financial Aid Office in Beardshear Hall, Room 7. Those interested may contact the YWCA at 294-1663.
