Message is from the heart

Students, faculty and staff who would like to get involved with health awareness, build their resumes and meet new people, listen up. The student outreach arm of the American Heart Association is having its first meeting on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. in Room 291 of the Physical Education Building.

This is a chance to get real life experience by helping start this new student-run group. For those who have further questions call: Jamie Rodenkirk 296-5738 or Jeremy Rock 296-5823.

For those trying to quit

Iowa State students, faculty and staff who are interested in trying to quit drinking or know someone who is, can contact the Ames branch of Alcoholics Anonymous.

“If you want to drink, that is your business. If you want to stop that is ours,” a spokesperson said.
