GSB to take up ‘rights’

Daily Staff Writer

Two resolutions, both critical of university sanctions imposed on members of The September 29th Movement, will be debated at tonight’s Government of the Student Body meeting.

Jamey Hansen, vice chairman of the Senate, is the author of the “Student Rights” resolution.

“My resolution is a statement that says only the students have the right to say who can or cannot be a student representative,” Hansen said.

Two senators may be removed from their positions if conduct probation sanctions against them are upheld by the All-University Judiciary.
