ISU should be proud of Meron Wondwosen
February 6, 1997
We are writing this letter in support of Meron Wondwosen, an undergraduate in political science and French. Meron has taken classes from each of us and we have been impressed with her maturity, creativity, intelligence, and commitment to her studies. Meron has a brilliant future ahead of her. ISU will one day be proud to say that Meron attended school here; how proud will ISU be to know that she was treated so poorly when she tried to express her convictions?
We are dismayed that students are being made to pay a high price for their peaceful assembly, and we ask that all students of principle be supported.
