The real sin
February 20, 1997
I just wanted to say that since racism is something we’re born into, few people consider it a crime to differentiate between the existing races. It is a crime, from my point of view, because besides from being naive and not backed by much evidence, a statement such as ” I am better than you because the color of my skin is the colour it is” isn’t only offensive etc. If people say that, or show it in some way, they support the present state of the world and more children are born and brought up believing that the skin color makes a difference. That’s the real sin — keeping the ugly “tradition” alive.
