Still waiting for OJA verdicts

Daily Staff Writer

Members of The September 29th Movement who are awaiting Office of Judicial Affairs verdicts said Monday they have yet to be informed of their fates as students.

Meron Wondwosen, president of the Black Student Alliance and a Movement member who is facing sanctions, said they most likely will receive letters in the mail regarding the sanctions issued by the OJA.

The OJA has until Thursday to hand down its verdicts.

The students are charged in connection with their involvement in a Nov. 5 unauthorized town meeting.

Kel Munger and Taiyon Coleman, graduate students in English, received conduct probation Thursday for their involvement in the rally.

Four of the other six who are awaiting OJA decisions face more serious charges than Munger and Coleman because they spoke at the rally.

Those four students could be suspened.
