It’s been a tough week for the men’s basketball team. If they were to win no more this year, ISU fans would still be grateful to the seniors for all they’ve done. They, Coach Floyd and the rest of the team have brought great honor and prestige to the university and to themselves.

However, we expect more wins this year, and though the road may be longer and tougher than hoped, we look forward to the first Sweet Sixteen appearance in a long time.

I can’t close without acknowledging the achievements of the women’s team. The big win over Texas shows they are on the threshold of greatness also.
