Seminar to focus on philosophy and how it shapes research, science

Make plans now to attend the College of Family and Consumer Sciences seminar, Discovering Research Philosophies, on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 3-4:30 p.m. in Room 67 of LeBaron Hall.
The faculty involved represent a wide diversity of philosophies on research.
The goal of the seminar is to illuminate the essential role that underlying philosophy plays in shaping research and science.
Presenters will be: Jacques Lempers, professor in human development and family studies, Suzanne Hendrich, associate professor in food science and human nutrition, and Frances Smith, professor in family and consumer sciences education and studies.
