Coach Floyd,

I am an ISU alum now living in Omaha. Wednesday I drove to Lincoln to catch the game. We sat in the fourth row directly behind the ISU bench, amongst all the NU students, proudly displaying the Cyclone colors. It was a great pleasure to watch you coach the game, it still amazes me to see how much you get out of your players. Jacy (and DeAndre for a short time) shut down Lue. The box-and-one was a great move.

It was also a pleasure to be associated with the university when you and your players conducted yourselves with nothing but class in the face of continual insult slinging from the Husker fans.

Because of the positive direction yourself, Coach McCarney and Gene Smith have started the athletic program, my wife and I have helped organize a group to purchase season tickets for basketball and football. We look forward to enjoying many seasons watching you lead Iowa State to championships.
