A seminar will be held tonight for any Iowa State staff members and their spouses who plan to retire by the end of this summer.

The seminar will cover university retirement programs, including early retirement incentive and phased retirement, general guidelines and time lines for planning retirement and on-going benefits after retirement.

A thorough discussion will include choosing TIAA-CREF income options at retirement, transferring CREF funds to TIAA prior to retirement, partial settlement of accumulations, cash withdrawals at retirement and one and two-life annuity options with or without guarantees.

Step-by-step retirement procedures will also be explained.

The seminar will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight in 204-208 Scheman Building.
