A note from the editors
January 15, 1997
The Daily has been having trouble with its electronic mail due to our server. Letters sent to the Daily via e-mail will be read after the problem is fixed. Hopefully, the problem will be corrected today.
In the meantime, readers can send mail to Tim Frerking, opinion editor, at [email protected] for publication or else send mail to the Daily at 108 Hamilton Hall. Readers are also welcome to drop off letters at the Daily office.
The Daily apologizes for any inconvenience. If you have sent a letter to the Daily and are afraid we have not received it, please send the letter via campus mail or the U.S. Postal Service. For your information, campus mail is free. Students need only drop the letter off at a residence hall post office or at their department’s main office.
Please disregard the section of the “Letters Policy,” which follows, that addresses e-mail.
When the problem is corrected, the Daily will issue another statement. Until then, please bear with us.
