The opinion article in the Friday, Jan. 17 edition of the Iowa State Daily by Erin Walter concerning the lack of handicapped accessible bars in Ames had a glaring omission:

The Maintenance Shop!

The shop has a wheelchair ramp. The doors on that side of the Memorial Union can be opened with the touch of a button, and there are wheelchair accessible restrooms available via an elevator on the lower level of the Union.

In addition, the M-Shop still offers the best entertainment in town.
