ASWA scholarship available for accounting students

A scholarship of approximately $200 is being offered to accounting students by Ames Chapter 158 of the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA).
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must also attend college or be a declared major in accounting.
They must also attend college in or be a resident of Boone, Story or Marshall County in Iowa.
This is the fifth year that the Ames Chapter of ASWA has offered the scholarship.
ASWA is a national organization founded in 1938 to increase the opportunities for women in all fields of accounting.
Today, it has more than 7,700 members in more than 130 chapters throughout the United States.
Applications for the scholarship are available at area universities and colleges.
