Warm thanks

Kel Munger

As chairwoman of The September 29th Movement’s Teach-In on Diversity and Political Action, I’d like to extend a warm thanks to all those who made the event so successful.

Our presenters put together programs that were professional, educational and entertaining.

A special note of thanks to Pat Miller, who helped us get space in the Union; Michelle Michel and the staff of the Union, who arranged set-up and located a larger room for us when it became obvious that we needed it; and to all the instructors and faculty who reviewed our program and decided to add it to their curriculum for the day.

We are especially grateful to the students who came and participated, demonstrating by their actions a deep committment to diversity, multiculturalism and political action on this campus. We send our applause and gratitude to the ISU community for joining us in a conversation made up of many voices.
