Forum moved to Sun Room

A diversity forum scheduled for today at noon in the Maintenance Shop of the Memorial Union has been moved to the Sun Room because of an anticipated large crowd.
The forum, “Strategies for Change at ISU: A Forum on Diversity,” is part of an ongoing series of forums at Iowa State to to discuss diversity issues on campus.
Speakers will include ISU President Martin Jischke and Derrick Rollins, diversity adviser to the president’s cabinet. The forum will be moderated by Beverly Crabtree, dean of the College of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Mary Sawyer, associate professor of religious studies, will lead the discussion for the forum.
An open microphone will be available for audience members who wish to ask questions to the panel members. All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
Several campus organizations were also invited to the forum to ask questions.
The organizations include the Black Student Alliance, Faculty Senate and Government of the Student Body.
