An Iowa State Student was arrested by Ames police on drug possession charges Thursday.

Chad M. Saddoris, 19, of 4255 Welch Hall, was arrested Thursday evening and charged with prohibited acts and possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, police reports said.

Saddoris, a freshman in engineering, was arrested, charged and released on a judge’s order.

Saddoris could not be reached for comment as of press time.
