An article about a planned ‘teach-in’ to help promote diversity on campus which appeared on the front page of Thursday’s Daily incorrectly quoted one of the organizers of the event.

Kel Munger, chairwoman of the organizational committee, was quoted as saying the September 29th Movement is not made up of entirely African-Americans.

The article did not include Munger’s entire quotation, which was: “It is very much a white movement, a black movement, an Asian movement, a Native American movement. In short, we represent the make-up of Iowa State.”

The Daily regrets the error.
