Clinton is a liar

I have been searching on the character of our re-elected President Bill Clinton and have found that your article “Search for truth, not revenge” is totally false and misleading.

First, let’s go with some facts. Everyone knows that Bill Clinton was a draft dodger and protested the United States from Red Square.

If you or I did the same thing, we would be lucky to ever walk into the White House let alone visit the Pentagon or the CIA headquarters.

Of course, this may not be the case with Bill Clinton Presidency. Especially when Clinton can have a convicted drug dealer over for dinner who passes through White House security.

All you need is some cash and you have access to our government.

These character issues are just the tip of the iceberg.

We have the Lippo Bank scandal, two-volume documentation of Whitewater, Travelgate, FBI Filegate, a sexual harassment charge, and the list goes on and on.

So why didn’t character play an issue? It wasn’t because of voters are tired of smear campaigns … they happened in every election.

It was due to the fact that voters were not presented the facts. We had more polls than issues in this election.

At the end of your article, “Search for truth, not revenge,” you stated, “Let the rest of us decide how the truth should affect who leads our nation.”

I would suggest that “the rest of us” is not the common people. It is in fact our press who has the power to search or not search for the truth. And our press is not interested in looking into Clinton’s character.

Instead, we get a three-part series on how protests could happen here on campus. Is it the Daily’s goal to tell the truth or hypothesize on the what ifs?
