This week the Memorial Union will host the International Handcraft Sale in preparation for the upcoming International Week. The sale will be located in the Oak Room from 10:00 a.m. through 5 p.m. daily.
The handcraft sale is supplied by Worldly Goods, a non-profit organization which has been in the Ames area for nine years and a vendor of international products for two years.
Worldly Goods produces a wide variety of ethnic-inspired products from 40 countries around the world. Such products as wood, onyx and soapstone carvings, wall games, holiday decorations, and baskets will be displayed at this special event, each produced in their prospective countries by professional artisans. Each product is autographed by the artisan.
