I just wanted to write and congratulate Tim Davis on an excellent editorial (on the Deantrious Mitchell and Tracy Call issues).

I go to Buena Vista University in Storm Lake and had heard from ISU friends about some of the incidents going on down there—I’m also from Boone (just 10 minutes from Ames) so anything that goes on at ISU effects me.

The piece was well-written and clearly argued for people to “get a clue” and realize these ‘incidents’ are not going to go away on their own.

It is so unfortunate that it takes things like these to open up people’s minds—even if it is just a little bit.
