An Ames man was arrested for three drug related offenses Wednesday following an investigation by the Ames Drug Task Force.

Heath Alexander Main, 20, 108 S. High, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, a drug stamp violation and prohibited acts at his residence.

Bond was set at $20,000 but Main was released by a judge on his own recognizance.

John Tinker of the Drug Task Force said, “The Drug Task Force has been involved in an investigation involving him for approximately six months.”

The arrest followed the execution of a search warrant during which marijuana was found, he said.
