Your lucky number will be for sale from Oct. 14 until Oct. 18, as the lottery numbers for men’s basketball season tickets will be offered during that week to Iowa State students.

Numbers for the lottery system will be sold outside of University Book Store in the Memorial Union as well as at the Jacobson Building.

“All people that receive a lottery ticket will have their number put into a computer, which will then randomly output the numbers that will receive tickets,” said Jeff Shoultz from the ISU Athletic Department, Marketing and Promotions.

The tickets will be good for the 14 home games that will take place while classes are in session, and cost $70. “We certainly hope for a sellout situation, as we should have a very good team this year,” Shoultz said.

There are about 3,500 student tickets available.

The five home games that will take place during Christmas break will also be for sale at $5 each.

Students can purchase blocks of tickets from a single seat up to eight adjacent seats. “Each person will see their seats rotate about four times throughout the season,” Shoultz said.
