Due to scheduling conflicts with the craft show at Hilton Coliseum the Cyclone Shoot-out, sponsored by Norwest banks and the Story County Cyclone Club, has been changed from Thursday, Oct. 31, to Saturday, Nov. 2, following the Iowa State-Kansas football game.

The doors to Hilton open at 4:00 and events will start at 4:15, starting with with an autograph session with Tim Floyd and the rest of the ’96 – ’97 Cyclones.

Fireworks and the pom pon squad will kick off the main program at 5 p.m., followed by other activities including a dunk exhibition, three point contest, intrasquad scrimmage and auction. All activities should end at about 7 p.m.

“In the past, anywhere between 6,000 and 8,000 people have been in attendance,” said Jeff Schoultz from the ISU athletic department’s marketing and promotions.

An even larger crowd is expected this year with the recent success of the basketball team.

Tickets cost $5 for adults and $2 for children and Iowa State students and can be purchased through the Jacobson Athletic Building ticket office, The Sports Page, Norwest Bank and just before the shoot-out at 3:30 at the Hilton Coliseum Box Office. All tickets purchased for the Oct. 31 date will be honored.
