Cecelia Burnett’s election campaign is coming to a close, and it is incumbent upon us all to return her to the lowa State House of Representatives.

The Burnett legislative record of the past two years has been remarkable, voting for us 99 percent of the time in a discouraging political climate.

Nevertheless, Cecelia has represented us in a superb way whether in agricultural-rural areas, women’s rights, the protection of children, better education or especially in her forte, the environment.

Further, when conditions are right, consider Burnett as a possible candidate as a representative to the U.S. Congress.

Her approach to people’s concerns could serve the nation well. For now, vote to send her back as representative of district #61.
