Davis is confused
October 8, 1996
As usual, Tim Davis is confused. I would like to make several observations about Tim’s editorial concerning homosexuality.
1. So called “Homophobia” is not the only acceptable prejudice. Christians are routinely lambasted in all forms of media without a second thought by most.
2. A person who believes homosexuality is wrong is not necessarily a “Homophobe.”
This is just another example of liberals trying to twist the language to distort the truth, and make their rivals seem evil and crazy.
3. If homosexuality is normal because it is genetic, then is pedophilia normal because it is genetic? With this argument, any perversion is justifiable.
I’m sure even Mr. Davis makes some distinctions between right and wrong. Why are his distinctions more acceptable and righteous?
4. Homosexuals are already protected from discrimination by the same Constitution that everyone else is.
There is no reason to give them, or anyone else, extra rights.
