The Commission on the Arts will hold a workshop today at noon in City Hall for anyone interested in applying for grants to help fund local arts projects. The COTA is currently accepting applications for mini-grants and annual grants. The application deadline is Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. for mini-grants and Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. for annual grants. Applications may be obtained from the City Manager’s office at Ames City Hall, 515 Clark Ave. Call 239-5101.
