When the well runs dry

The University Bookstore was extremely busy late Monday afternoon as students

crammed in to purchase books and supplies for classes.

Many students wait until after the first day to get their books to see exactly what they need for a class.

What they paid:

* Tricia Robbins, a sophomore in marketing and fashion merchandising: $220. Still needs one more book

* Kimberly Gaedke, a senior in liberal studies: $330. Still needs two more books.

* Jeremy Howe, a sophomore in business: $320. Has all his books.

* Rowdy Evans, a senior in finance and accounting: $200. Still needs one more book.

* Dan Cross, a junior in animal ecology: $150. Has all his books.
