Chorus concert held this weekend

The public is invited to attend a concert of the Iowa State University Department of Music Summer Chorus this weekend.

The Summer Chorus is a 50-member chorus comprised of students, faculty and Ames area residents. The director is Robert Molison, Director of Choral Activities at ISU, a recent press release stated.

The concert includes works by Haydn, Schubert and Brahms. An original piece by James Tenor and a number of international folk songs will also be highlighted, the release stated.

The concert will be held on Sunday, July 21 at 3 p.m. in the Music Hall Recital Hall.

The concert is free and open to the public.
