Democratic Senator Tom Harkin will be the featured speaker at the Old Time Political Gala to be held in Ames on Friday. The 1890’s theme event is a fund-raising effort for Harkin and will be held at Moore Memorial Park at 6:30 p.m.

Other speakers include 3rd Distict congressional candidate Leonard Boswell and the master of ceremonies for the event is former congressional candidate Charlie Krogmeier of Ames.
