Justin Barnes, a senior in Mechanical Engineering, surveys the fire damage to the upstairs apartment of his building on 218 Stanton Ave.

The fire destroyed apartment 23b, where Jerrod Jensen and Daniel Gremillion resided. In addition to destroying the apartment, the fire also destroyed several thousand dollars in musical equipment, including the guitar shown here.

In all, six people were displaced by the fire, including Jensen and Gremillion, who went home to Forest City and Leeland, respectively.

Ev Cochran and Associates, the owner of Stanton Manor, have found temporary apartments for the remaining four displaced tenants.
