Living History Farms, which opened its doors for the seasonÿon May 1, is holding its fifth annual “Big as a Barn” garage sale. The sale will take place today, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tomorrow from 9 a.m. until everything is sold.

Housewares, collectibles, furniture and clothing are being sold. There will also be a bake sale with cookies, pies and pastries made by Living History Farms’ staff and volunteers.

The sale is being held at the Murray Conference Center, located west of Interstate 35/80 on Douglas Avenue, near N.W. 120th Street. The entrance is marked “Gate 4.”

The proceeds go toward preservation and educational projects. Living History Farms is located at 2600 NW 111th St., in Urbandale.
