Com Sci 103 offers new labs

The Department of Computer Science is offering two Computer Science 103 laboratories that will allow students to use their own computers in the convenience of their homes.
If students have their own computer and the software used in the computer science labs, they may sign up for these particular sections and work through the labs at home.
There is still the requirement that students come to their scheduled lab to demonstrate the skills taught in that week’s lab, but the time commitment in that lab is reduced from two hours to fewer than 30 minutes.
To be certain that students have the proper equipment and understand how this lab would function, section 1, reference #2673005 and section 21, reference #2673105 are coded as “departmental permission only.”
