Pucker up. For a select 30 of you out there, you’ll need to get those kissing lips in better shape than ever before.

Members of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity and the Boys and Girls Club of Ames have teamed up to give away a new Chevy S-10 pickup truck donated from George White Chevrolet — but there is a catch. Thirty people will be selected from a raffle to participate in the kissing contest of their lives. The person who keeps his or her lips against the vehicle the longest will win the truck.

Organizers suspect that it may take up to three days to find the winner.

It may get cold. It may rain.

It may not taste very good.

But someone will come away with a new truck.

We have two suggestions for the lucky 30:

Don’t use your tongue, and bring a lot of chapstick.
