Add a couple more metallic names to the Main Stage of Lollapalooza. Not only are Metallica, Soundgarden, The Ramones and Rancid going to thrash around stage all summer, but so are Psychotica and Screaming Trees.
Psychotica, who hails from Manhattan, performed at last year’s Lollapalooza, opening the second stage of the festival’s first date in New York. Lead singer Patrick Briggs is psyched to be in such good company.
“By being given the opportunity to be part of this year’s Lollapalooza and to share the stage with such great bands, we truly thank the Lollapalooza team,” he said.
Screaming Trees comes from rural Washington state and will release Dust, its seventh album, on June 25.
