Attention country music fans!

The memories of the late country music legend, Pasty Cline, still live deep in the hearts of many county music fans.

To celebrate this pioneering musician, Joni Morris Sings the Hits of Pasty Cline will be performed at the Ingersoll Dinner Theater. The musical runs April 10 through April 21.

“This show is great for Pasty Cline fans,” said Charles Carnes, producer of the show. “Show numbers will include ‘Sweet Dreams,’ ‘Walkin’ After Midnight’ and ‘I Fall To Pieces.'”

“[Joni Morris] and a backup band will be performing many of Pasty Cline’s hit songs,” said Scott Kees, marketing director of the Ingersoll Dinner Theater. Her band is called After Midnight.

Despite the musical nature of the show, however, it will not consist solely of Morris’s vocal abilities. “The musical will consist of singing and dancing,” Keys said. “The show is more than country music.”

Morris is a county music singer from California, and country music is in her blood. Her father played guitar in a country music band, and she and her sister make up the group Morris Sisters.

“Joni Morris Sings the Hits of Pasty Cline has been a successful tour. The show has been selling out across the nation,” Carnes said.
