The following information is provided by the Ames Police Department. All suspects are innocent unless proven guilty:

*Shawn M. Carter, 20, 4015 Lincoln Way, was arrested on two warrants for failure to pay for a traffic violation and wearing no seat belt, Sunday. He was released on a $285 bond.

*Andrea T. Helbling, 25, Knapp Hall, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay for a parking violation, Monday. She was later released on bond.

*Michael R. Jennings, 31, 1316 S. Duff Ave., was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Monday. He was released on a citation.

*Leonard L. Haynes IV, 25, Buchanan Hall, was arrested on a warrant for a traffic violation, Tuesday. He was released on a citation.

*William T. Chieves, 27, 102 S. Maple Ave., was arrested on a warrant for a parking violation, Tuesday. He was released on a $100 bond.

*Jeremy P. Hoesly, 21, 615 Carroll Ave., was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated on the 600 block of Carroll Ave., Wednesday. He was released on bond.

*Mark R. Williams, 26, Boone, was arrested on a charge of simple assault at 111 Duff Ave., Wednesday. He was released on a $200 bond.
