A former Iowa State football player was arrested on a theft and parking violation warrants on Monday.

Mickal L. Horacek, 22, of 4124 Harris St., was arrested on two warrants for fourth-degree theft and a parking violation.

He was released by the Ames Police Department on a $1,200 bond.

Horacek, a senior in history, played his final season with the Cyclones last fall as a wide receiver.
