ISU students steal car, arrested

Two Iowa State students were arrested Saturday by Ames police for stealing a red 1994 Chevrolet Camaro that was unlocked and running in an Ames driveway.
Wesley Stover, of Huxley, reported his car had been stolen from where it was parked at 205 Fifth St. in Ames.
Elliot L. Davis, 25, 205 Fifth St., a freshman in dietetics, was arrested on a charge of first degree theft and driving under suspension. He was later released by the judge.
Gregory Gissendanner, 20, 205 Fifth St., a sophomore in speech communication, was arrested on a charge of first degree theft and possession of a controlled substance.
He was released on $10,000 bond.
