*A Pancake Breakfast will be held this Saturday, Dec. 2, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Elks Lodge on Douglass across from the Public Library. The cost is $3 for adults.

*The YWCA of Ames-ISU is sponsoring a UNICEF holiday greeting card sale. The holiday cards come in beautiful designs and many languages.

They range in price from $8.50 to $25.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the United Nations International Children’s Fund.

The holiday greeting cards can be found at the Ames-ISU YWCA, 15 Alumni Hall, 294-166.

The greeting cards are also available at Big Table Books, 330 Main St.
