To the Editor:

I would like to voice my displeasure to the sports department. For the most part, I enjoy the columnists that grace your page every day. However, there is one columnist that I just don’t appreciate.

When I turn to the sports section, I don’t want to read about the high school “girls’ powder puff league,” or the difference between root beer and Coke, or lame schtick about Wayne’s World or “Who’s going to mow the lawn.”

I don’t want to imply that I disapprove of the author. This author seems to be a fine writer; I just wish she would choose subject matter more applicable to the sports section.
