To the Editor:

It is time that we as students of a beautiful land-grant university take a stand against the pitiful mess of litter and bees outside the Hub.

We should feel ashamed for subjecting visitors to unsightly trash and the threat of bee stings. Today I saw some bees attempting to colonize a sugary plastic cup outside the Hub. I can understand how some people would rather throw their trash on the lawn than submerge their arm into a bee-infested trash can, but let’s be sensible.

Be brave and fight the bees!
