GSB Agenda

The Government of the Student Body will meet today at 7 p.m. in the Pioneer Room of the Memorial Union. The following will be discussed:

*A resolution proposing that GSB favor relocation of the Browsing Library and the Chapel with the understanding that both places will be included in the final renovation plan. By Cowger, Sayer and others.

*A resolution proposing that a resolution regarding the location and the existence of the Browsing Library be sent to the Memorial Union Board of Directors, the managing director of the Memorial Union, the president of Iowa State, the Board of Regents, the Iowa State Daily and the Des Moines Register. *A bill proposing that Robert M. Livingston be seated as a graduate student senator. By Avloes, Cowger and others.

*A bill proposing that Nate Baldwin be seated as an off-campus senator. By Cowger, Avloes and others.

*A bill proposing that the GSB Senate approve a statement of principles as the 1996-97 funding priorities of the Analysis of the Social Service Evaluation Team (ASSET). By Beck, Obrecht and others.

*A bill proposing that an eight-member GSB standing committee be established in accordance with the GSB/DPS Funding Agreement. By Beck, Hardersen and others.

*A bill proposing that the GSB/DPS Advisory Committee prepare a budget under the DPS/GSB Funding Agreement. By Beck, Hardersen and others.

*A bill proposing that $8,600 be allocated from the Special Projects Account for the purchase of a six-passenger golf cart. By Beck, Hardersen and others.

*A bill proposing that GSB allocate $1,000 from the Senate Discretionary Account to the ISU Honors Student Conference in Pittsburgh, PA Nov. 2-6. By Cowger, Vinson and others.

*A bill proposing that GSB allocate $761.75 from the Senate Discretionary Account to help the Turkish Student Association fund Turkish Night 1995. By Badr, Herrarte and others.

*A bill proposing that GSB allocate $2,800 from the Special Projects Fund to purchase computer upgrades and new software for the GSB computer lab. By Avloes, Hansen and others.
