Stomp to pound Des Moines

You may have seen them in one of those Coca-Cola commercials; they’re the ones pounding on garbage cans in lieu of drums. Stomp, the eight-member percussion performance group, melds dance and music, making a rhythm out of anything they can get their hands on.

Your chance to see the members of Stomp pound the stage of the Civic Center is coming up Nov. 4, and tickets are on sale now.

They cost $24, $19 and $15 (a 10% discount is available to groups of 20 or more); tickets are available at the Civic Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster outlets in person or charge by phone at 233-1888.
