“The magic is back”

David Copperfield, hailed as “the greatest illusionist of our time,” is coming to Ames. C.Y. Stephens Auditorium will host Copperfield’s “Beyond Imagination” show Thursday, Nov. 30 for two shows at 5:30 and 9 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. They are priced at $34.50, $29.50 and $19.50, and there will be a $5 discount for groups of 20 or more (5:30 p.m. performance only).

Treat Seats discount coupons for $5 are also available at all area Target stores.

Auditions at Ingersoll

Auditions will be held for The Ingersoll Children’s Theater production of The Year Santa Claus Almost Forgot Christmas.

Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Ingersoll. Three adult male and one female role are needed, as well as two small child actors.
